The site forms the eastern extremity of a linear settlement of building along Edgehill Road, and the entrance to the contemporary ‘Brambles’ development to the north of the site. Two semi-detached homes are proposed, arranged over three floors. The proposed building form ‘bookends’, the existing settlement, and creates a ‘gatehouse’ to the residential development to the north.
